As the daughter of two small business owners, a common issue that both of my parents struggled with was hiring passionate employees whose work always met my parent's standards. They worked so hard to extensively train their employees and provide them with the necessary resources to lead their employees and in turn their business, to success! Yet, despite all this hard work, my parents continuously struggled to guide their new hires to become their desired employee. This left my parents feeling overwhelmed and frustrated. Of course, I hated seeing my parents work so hard on their small businesses, just to have their employees crumbling behind the scenes. What I realized through my parents' experience was that their employees were lacking key qualities: passion and confidence in their work!
